All About BlurbShift
BlurbShift is an interactive blog that you can contribute to by sending in anything from rants to reviews to personal stories. Making a blog like this needs your help, as it requires your participation to make it. We'll try and keep it to everyone'sinterests, and maybe even introduce things that you may find interesting. Send whatever you want to BlurbShift@gmail.com. We won't keep your email if you don't want us to, and we won't unless you tell us to. If we do, that means you get email updates straight from the BlurbShift Team on big changes or events. You can also send us a link to a personal blog or blog post, and we'll check it out and, with your permission, grab some posts that we think are worth reading and send a link there, and maybe even go back once in awhile to look at new posts.
If you send in a post through email, and we like what we read, we'll put it right on the blog. Please note that we will spell check for you and edit the post if the grammar is off, but please try to do most of that yourself. We'll get back to you no matter what, even if we don't put it on the blog. We think it's nice to know that someone pays attention to you. ;)
Please don't include attachments. Instead, host files online with services such as ImageShack.us.
If you would like to become a regular writer on BlurbShift, send us an email with a little about yourself (a resume, if possible). Also, send us an example post (2 or more paragraphs will work) about a strong interest of yours.
Make sure to include this personal info:
*Age - 16 or older, please, but we do make exceptions at 15)
*Occupation - if you're in school, you're a student)
*Where you live - no specifics, just state and country
Past or Present Acknowledgments - awards, etc.
Other contact info - If you wish for us to contact you in another way other than email; MySpace, Facebook, IM (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, or GTalk), etc.

If there's any other questions about what's mentioned above, be sure to email us.
And as for email subject lines:
Submitting a post - Include "Post" in the subject line.
Questions or help - Include "Help"
For competitions and contests - Include "Contest"
To subscribe to email alerts - Include "Subscribe"
If you're applying for a writers position - Include "Application"
For anything else - Include "Other"
Please include these keywords, as it's MUCH easier for us to sort through emails.
